فوز النشاط الطلابي SPE بالجمعية الدولية لمهندسي البترول (SPE Suez Student Chapter) بجائزة Presidential Award لعام 2025

أعلن أ.د. أشــــــــــرف حنيجــــــــــل رئيس جامعة السويس فوز طلاب النشاط الطلابي SPE بكلية هندسة البترول والتعدين- قسم هندسة البترول بجائزة أفضل فرع طلابي على مستوى العالم، ويأتي هذا التتويج العالمي بعد فوزهم المستحق بجائزة أفضل فرع طلابي على مستوى الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا،
الأمر الذي يعد إنجازًا هامًا ومميزًا، حيث يعتبر النشاط الطلابي SPE بجامعة السويس هو الفرع الطلابي الوحيد من مصر، والشرق الأوسط، وشمال أفريقيا الذي تأهل وفاز في هذه المسابقة العالمية المرموقة.
وأكد “رئيس الجامعة” أن هذا الإنجاز هو ثمرة جهود متواصلة، وشغف حقيقي، وعمل جماعي مخلص من طلابنا الذين أثبتوا أن التميز ممكن عندما يجتمع الطموح مع الالتزام، مشيدًا باستمرارية تميزهم وريادتهم على المستويين الإقليمي والدولي.
هذا في نفس السياق أعرب أ.د. عصام أحمد علي – عميد كلية هندسة البترول والتعدين عن سعادته بهذا الإنجاز والذي يعد أثر للإهتمام الشديد بالنشاط الطلابي في الكلية وبالجامعة، إيمانا من إدارة الكلية بالدور الهام لهذا الملف في إقامة مجتمع متكامل خلقياً وإجتماعياً وفكرياً داخل أروقة الكلية.
وبهذه المناسبة قدم سيادته الشكر والتقدير إلي ا.د عادل عامر وكيل الكلية لشئون التعليم والطلاب، ا.م.د نفين علي رئيس قسم هندسة البترول ومنسق الانشطة الطلابية بالكلية.

President of Suez University Announces…
The Student Activity SPE at the International Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE Suez Student Chapter) Wins the 2025 Presidential Award
☆ Suez | June 11, 2025
Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heniegal, President of Suez University, announced that the students of the SPE student activity at the Faculty of Petroleum and Mining Engineering – Petroleum Engineering Department – have won the Presidential Award for Best Student Chapter Worldwide for the year 2025.
This global recognition follows their well-deserved victory as the Best Student Chapter in the Middle East and North Africa, marking a significant and outstanding achievement. The SPE student chapter at Suez University is notably the only student branch from Egypt, the Middle East, and North Africa to qualify for and win this prestigious international competition.
The University President emphasized that this achievement is the result of continuous effort, genuine passion, and sincere teamwork by our students, who have demonstrated that excellence is possible when ambition meets commitment. He praised their continued distinction and leadership both regionally and internationally.
In the same context, Prof. Dr. Essam Ahmed Ali, Dean of the Faculty of Petroleum and Mining Engineering, expressed his happiness with this achievement, which reflects the college’s and the university’s strong focus on student activities. He affirmed the college administration’s belief in the crucial role that student engagement plays in fostering a morally, socially, and intellectually integrated community within the college.
On this occasion, he extended his thanks and appreciation to:
Prof. Dr. Adel Amer, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs,
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nevin Ali, Head of the Petroleum Engineering Department and Student Activities Coordinator at the college,
